Description

No. 181 on High Street is a house and shop, originally built as a house in the early 19th century. It features colour washed brick and a glazed pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with sashes set in flush frames that include glazing bars. The late 19th-century double shop front has 20th-century glazing and a door. The entrance doorway is adorned with a plain architrave, panelled linings, a frieze, and a moulded cornice hood, leading to a six-panelled fielded door. There are red brick stacks on the north and south gables.
