Description

This barn, located immediately to the south of Beck Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is constructed from timber framing and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of three bays, with an entrance located in the middle bay. Inside, there are full height studs and arched braces at the corners. The trusses feature long arched braces, and the roof is supported by two rows of stepped butt purlins and curved windbraces. Additionally, there is a small later extension on the east end, which has a shallow-pitched roof covered with clay pantiles.
