Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 20 yards southeast of Hasketon Grange. It is constructed of red Flemish bond brick and features a pantile roof. The barn has an open plan with three bays. On the yard front, there are central double doors flanked by breathers and a decorative band below the eaves with projecting headers. The gable ends have slightly projecting plinths and clapboarding. At the rear, there is a central projecting transept bay with ancillary buildings on either side, which are not included in this listing. Inside, the barn has tie beams and collars supporting the trusses. The barn is included for its group value.
