Description

Hasketon Grange is a farmhouse dating to the 17th century, with additions and alterations made in the early 19th century and late 19th century. It is a timber-framed building with a brick skin and colourwashed render, and has a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic.

On the front of the house, a doorway is positioned to the left of centre and features a classical door surround with fluted pilasters and a pediment above. The door itself consists of six panels, with the lower four being flush and the upper two glazed. To either side of the doorway are three-light casement windows from the 19th century, and three similar casements are located on the first floor. A dentilled cornice runs along the eaves. An axial ridge stack is situated to the left of centre.

The left-hand gable end has Flemish bond brickwork on the ground floor and rendered work at first-floor level, with a two-light attic casement. A half-hipped roof sits over a 19th-century extension, which has two first-floor windows with three panes by three. The right-hand gable end features a four-light gable window and a two-light attic window. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
