Description

20 Ballygate is an early 17th century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features two windows and has a pantile roof topped with a small gabled dormer. The exterior is rendered with pebble dash, while the south gable end is made of red brick and includes barge boards and a loft casement. Inside, the building showcases timber framing and a winding stone staircase that reaches the loft, retaining original timbers. There is a hewn boarded partition, ledged doors with wrought hinges, and an early 18th century cupboard with an arched head and shaped shelves.
