Description
No. 18 Ballygate is an early 17th century timber-framed building that stands two storeys high. It features two near-flush-frame sash windows, which now have only central glazing bars. The front is pargetted and lime-washed. On the ground floor, there is a sash window on the left side, alongside an 18th century wooden entrance door with six panels. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the north gable end is made of brick. Inside, the building has stop-chamfered hewn crossbeams and a massive curved brace on the first floor.
