Description

Dallinghoo Hall is a house with a mid- to late 18th-century facade built upon an earlier core. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic.

The front of the house has 4½ bays; the half-bay is subtly positioned between the left-hand two bays and features blocked openings on both the ground and first floors. A gabled porch is centrally located on the right-hand side, featuring a basket arch that frames a door with six raised and fielded panels. To the right and left of the porch are cambered-headed sash windows with 3x4 panes of glass. A similar window is located on the far left. The first floor has four similar sash windows. The 20th-century pantile roof includes three flat-roofed dormers. The left-hand gable end has a central projecting stack with offsets. There are also two chimney stacks behind the ridge. The rear of the house has been extensively altered with 20th-century additions.
