2. 1864 buildings around quadrangle including Marryott House, the first school on the site, School Hall now Library and classrooms. 2 storeys and attic, 10 window range, south, mullion transom casements. Red brick with grey brick and stone dressings. Centre and end projections with shaped gables. Entrance with arched porch, right of centre. School founded 1662, at one time situated at the present Nos 1 and 3 Seckford Street, the Seckford Library (qv).
