Description
Woodbridge School, located on Bredfield Street, was established in 1852. The buildings around the quadrangle, including Marryott House, which is the first school on the site, were constructed in 1864. The school features two storeys and an attic, with a ten-window range on the south side, showcasing mullion transom casements. It is built from red brick, accented with grey brick and stone dressings. The design includes central and end projections with shaped gables, and the entrance is marked by an arched porch situated to the right of the center. The school was originally founded in 1662 and was once located at the current Nos 1 and 3 Seckford Street, where the Seckford Library is now located.
