Description

Grove Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a timber frame with plaster, a brick plinth, and a thatched roof, showcasing a Cottage Ornee style. The building is single storey with an attic. Most of the windows are 2-light pointed casements that have Y tracery glazing bars and leaded panes. The east end is splayed and has an overhanging roof supported by rustic timber columns. The east doorway has a pointed door with a reeded architrave, and there is an elliptical headed dormer window above it. Inside, there is one internal stack.
