Description
The Lodge is the entrance lodge to Glemham House, originally built as a single-storey structure in the early 19th century. It was enlarged with the addition of a first floor, likely in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of white brick, with the main front and the splayed end to the west featuring random flint and white brick dressings, topped by a slated roof. It stands at two storeys, with a projecting single-storey section to the west. The Lodge has a two-window range, with inset two-light casements, and the first-floor windows still have their square leaded panes. The west gable end includes two porthole windows at eaves level. The single-storey section has a splayed end and an overhanging roof supported by plain timber columns, and features a doorway with a four-panel door.
