Description
The Old Parsonage is a house located on Chapel Lane in Glemham, with origins dating back to the early 17th century. The northern section of the building is part of a lobby entrance house from this period, while the southern part has been replaced by a later addition. In the early 20th century, the house was extended to the south in a similar style. The structure is timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof.
The northern part features two storeys and an attic, with one window range consisting of three-light large-pane casements. There is a boarded door situated within a gabled porch, and an original stack is located at the southern end. The southern part is a single storey with an attic, displaying a three-window range that includes two three-light and one two-light large-pane casements. This section has a modern glazed door, three gabled dormers, and an external stack on the southern gable. Additionally, there is a flat-roofed extension that dates from around 1950. At the rear, there are two older casement windows with square leaded panes.
