Description

The summerhouse, located 20 meters northeast of Benacre Hall Stables, was converted in the late 19th century from another building, possibly a dovecote. It dates back to the early 18th century. The structure is made of red brick and has a circular plan with a conical thatched roof topped by a wooden finial. It is a single-storey building featuring two pointed-arch windows with Y-tracery and colored leaded glass. The entrance includes a two-centre arched boarded and battened door, along with a thatched gabled porch supported by rustic timber posts.
