Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse with an early 17th century core and a late 18th century exterior. Originally timber framed, it is now constructed of red brick and features a roof made of glazed black pantiles. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-cell layout and a lobby entrance. It has three windows, which are 18th century four-light mullion and transom casements, each with a single horizontal glazing bar; these are topped with slightly cambered brick arches. The entrance bay is slightly set forward and features a mid-20th century six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. There is a brick dentil eaves cornice, and an internal stack along with a gable end stack on the left side. Inside, the hall and parlour display exposed 17th century joisting, with the floor beam in the hall featuring triple stop-chamfers.
