Description
No. 2 Bridge Street is a building dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It features a stucco or imitation brick front that has been painted, and it is covered with pantiles. The building has two storeys and includes four flush frame sash windows on the first floor, which now have only central glazing bars. There is a tall wooden case for a former shop front, adorned with elongated pilasters. Additionally, there is an extra flush-frame sash window on the ground floor to the left, which is supported by stucco consoles at the corner. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2, 4, 6A, 12 to 20 (even), 24 to 34 (even), and 40 to 44 (even), as well as Nos. 48 and 50.
