Description

Nos 13 and 14 on Market Hill date from 1692, although they likely originated in the 17th century. The front of the building was altered in the late 18th century. It is two storeys high with attics that feature two dormers. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a central chimney stack made of yellow brick. The eaves cornice is made of wood and has pairs of modillions. There is a range of four sash windows with glazing bars. This building functions as both a house and shops. It is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 6 and 8 to 22, the Black Boy Hotel, and the Town Hall.
