Description

This is a cottage dating from the 18th century, located to the north of The Red Lion in East Bergholt. It features a timber-framed structure with a plain tile roof and a rebuilt brick stack. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with a central lobby entry. The walls are thin-studded, equipped with a middle rail, straight posts, and down braces. The entrance has a 20th-century door and cross casements, while pointed 2-light casements are found above. The roof is swept hipped, and there is a central stack. The rendering that was noted in an earlier listing has now been removed. The interior has not been inspected.
