Description

No. 24 Friars Street is a building dating from 1692, located on the northwest side of the street. It is constructed from Suffolk yellow brick and features a slate roof with wide eaves supported by tripled brackets. The building is two stories high and has two windows, which are recessed sashes with glazing bars and flat arches. The entrance includes a wooden case for a three-light casement window, and there is a flat lintel above the ground floor window. Nos. 24 to 28 (even) and Nos. 32 to 68 (even) form a group.
