Description

Nos 17 and 19 Court Street is a timber-framed and plastered building that incorporates the structure of a 14th-century aisled hall, with the rear aisle still intact. The front aisle has been removed and the front has been reconstructed. The upper storey of No 19 features exposed timber-framing. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with a mix of partly double-hung sashes and partly casements, including one with old leaded lights. The entrance features a six-panel door with a moulded wood architrave, a decorated frieze, and a small cornice. The roof is tiled and retains its original framed construction.
