Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house, altered in the 18th century, located in Court Street, Nayland, with Wissington. Originally known as the Victoria Inn, the building is two storeys high and has a four-window front. The ground floor has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The upper floor features two and three-light leaded casement windows. A six-panel door, with glazed upper panels, sits at the entrance, alongside an 19th-century shop front featuring pilasters and a cornice on the north side. The roofs are tiled, with a coved plaster eaves soffit.
