Description

No. 7 Court Street is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house featuring a cross wing at the south end. It was refronted in the 18th century. The ground floor is faced in brick, likely underbuilt in the 18th century, and is now colourwashed. The upper storey on the south side is weatherboarded. The building has two storeys and a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The entrance features a six-panel door with an architrave and a dentilled pediment above it. There is a small shop front that projects from the center of the building, designed in an 18th to 19th-century style. The roof is tiled and hipped on the south cross wing.
