Description

Fern Cottage is an early to mid-19th century timber-framed and plastered house. It is two windows wide and three stories high. The windows are double-hung sashes with margin glazing bars. The ground floor features a canted bay window with a dentilled cornice resting on brackets. A modern three-panel door is set within a doorcase featuring a fluted architrave with corner roundels and a cornice. The roof is covered in slate.
