Description

Stour House is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house featuring an 18th-century brick front that has been colourwashed. There is a brick-fronted addition on the north side. The main block has four window openings, while the addition has two, both fitted with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars and are set in shallow reveals. A raised brick band runs between the storeys of the main block. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with plain reveals, pilasters, and a cornice. Additionally, there is a carriage entrance to the north addition. The roofs are tiled, with a moulded wood eaves cornice on the main block and a central chimneystack.
