Description
The Anchor Public House is an early to mid-19th century brick building that has been painted. It stands two storeys tall with attics and features a two-window range on both the west and south fronts, along with one window in the south gable that lights the attics. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals. At the south-west corner, there is a corner bar window adorned with pilasters and a cornice. The doorway also has pilasters and a cornice. Additionally, at the north end, there is a timber-framed and weatherboarded addition that includes a small 19th-century shop window. The roofs are tiled and feature two large gabled dormers on the west front.
