Description

Dilljack's Farmhouse is an 18th-century timber-framed house located on Colchester Road, Assington. It is a two-storey building with a symmetrical three-bay front, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, and is surrounded by a shouldered architrave, frieze, and cornice. The roof is tiled. A large external chimney stack with offsets is situated at the north-west end of the building. A single-storey block with a mansard roof extends from the rear.
