Description

The Shoulder of Mutton Public House is an early 19th century red brick building designed in an L-shaped plan, featuring wings that extend to the west and south. It stands two storeys high. The west wing has one window on the west front and two on the south, while the south wing, which is the main block, has two windows on the west front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in flush cased frames. The west front includes a modern bar entrance that is in keeping with the building's style. The roofs are hipped and covered with slate. This building is included for its group value.
