Description

This cartlodge, located approximately 30 metres north of Shelley Dairy, dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring vertical boarding on the ground floor. The building has a red brick plinth and a red plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high and consists of four bays, with open gable ends on the ground floor. The loft floor is supported by hanging knees and chamfered tie beams. This structure is included for its group value.
