Description

The Scutchers Arms is a timber-framed building that was re-faced in the 18th century or early 19th century, now featuring a red brick exterior. The building has been refronted and includes a double gabled wing that extends to the south at the front. It has two storeys, while the rear block is partly one storey with attics. The windows are mainly casements with glazing bars. The south wing features a central recessed doorway with a flat pointed arch, flanked by small canted bay windows. The roof of the rear block is tiled, while the south wing has a slate roof.
