Description

This is an 18th-century timber-framed cottage located on Westgate Street in Long Melford. The cottage was refronted in the mid-19th century with red brick. It is a single-story building with attic space, featuring a three-window facade. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals, and have stuccoed panelled lintels. The roof is tiled, and it has three gabled dormers.
