Description

The Nook is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on Polstead Mill Lane, with later additions at both the north and south ends. The central section features a tiled roof adorned with two gabled dormers; one dormer displays the initials K over W.A, while the other is marked with the date 1678. The north and south additions have pantiled roofs and consist of one storey with attics, featuring small casement windows. The building has three ridge chimney stacks. Inside, the interior reveals exposed timber-framing, and a needled beam is visible on the front.
