Description

POLSTEAD RECTORY HILL 1. 5377 Steps Farmhouse TL 93 NE 45/904 II 2. A timber-framed and plastered building probably of C17 origin A wing extends to the east at the south end. Renovated and altered, with a modern wing to the east carried out at first storey level above the doorway and supported on posts. Roof tiled, with one ridge chimney stack and one external stack at the south end. Two storeys. The windows are partly double-hung sashes with glazing bars and partly casements.
