Description

Thrifts Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that has undergone later alterations and renovations. It is designed on a T-shaped plan with a gabled cross wing at the east end. The farmhouse is partly one storey with attics and partly two storeys. The upper storey of the cross wing jetties at the north end, featuring a coved plaster soffit. The windows are modern casements. The roof is tiled and includes gabled dormers on the south and east sides, along with two original rectangular shafted central chimney stacks.
