Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the east side of High Street, Newport, set on an L-shaped plan with wings extending north and west. The north wing has three window bays, and the west wing has two window bays, both featuring leaded casement windows. A date panel displaying the year 1694 is present on the upper storey of the north wing, along with the remnants of old pargetting. The ground floor has two bays and a modern door with a gabled tiled hood. The roof is tiled, with chimney stacks at each end.
