Description

The Old Vicarage is an early 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on Newport High Street. It features cross wings at both the north and south ends, with exposed timber-framing visible on the west front of each wing. The building has two storeys, and the upper storeys of the cross wings jettied out over the front, supported by exposed joists. The south wing includes a carved bressummer. There are four windows, which are leaded casements, and the roof is tiled.
