Description
Retreat and Waterloo House is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building that has undergone significant alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as later changes. The northern section, known as Retreat, is faced in white brick and features a gabled roof. The building has two storeys, with Retreat having a two-window range and Waterloo House having a four-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a modern shop front. The roofs are covered with slate, and there is a wing extending to the east at the rear, which has a tiled roof.
