Description
The garden walls to Melford Hall, dating from around 1559, are significant structures that enclose the garden on the north, west, and south sides. These walls are made of massive red brick and feature buttresses, a sloping brick capping, and a sawtooth brick dentil course. The walls stand approximately 10 to 12 feet high. Notably, the west wall is interrupted by an octagonal summer house located at the north end.
