Description
Pound Hall is an early 19th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with roughcast on the front. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. The first storey has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground storey has two rectangular bays with double-hung sash windows that do not have glazing bars, both adorned with modillion cornices. The entrance is marked by a central six-panel door with panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight that has ornamental glazing, all sheltered by a Tuscan portico supported by plain columns and topped with a modillion cornice. The roof is slate, hipped, and double-pitched, featuring end chimney stacks.
