Description
Pintins is a house with probable origins in the late 15th century, featuring alterations from the 16th century and later. It underwent renovation and extension in the 20th century. The building is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof and a red brick stack. It is one storey and has an attic, consisting of five bays. The entrance has a Tudor arch, and the lobby-entry plan likely reflects a modification of the original open hall. The current entrance is through a 20th-century extension at the rear. The house has 20th-century casements throughout and four eyebrow dormers. Inside, the hall features a red brick inglenook with a chamfered bressummer and a chamfered arched recess to the right. The interior also includes chamfered beams and joists with run-out stops, along with studded walls.
