Description
Clock House is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house designed in an L-shaped plan. The north-east wing was refronted in the 19th century using gault brick. During renovations in the older section of the house, a coin dated 1699 was found embedded in the mortar of the brickwork. The building has two storeys, with the north-east wing featuring three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in plain reveals. The ground floor windows are fitted with louvred shutters, and there is a central glazed door. The roof is slate and hipped. The older part of the house has casement windows and a tiled roof. Inside, some of the timber framing is exposed.
