Description

MONKS ELEIGH BACK LANE 1. 5377 Old Bakehouse and Churches TL 9647 54/761 II 2 A timber-framed and plastered building with a thatched roof. Probably of C15 origin. (The interior has smoke blackened timbers). Considerably altered and renovated. A later addition at the east end has a tiled roof. Two storeys. Casement windows. One ridge chimney stack and one external stack with attached shafts at the west end. The interior has exposed timber-framing.
