Description

The Old Bakehouse and Churches is a timber-framed and plastered building with a thatched roof, likely dating from the 15th century. The interior features smoke blackened timbers. The building has undergone considerable alterations and renovations, including a later addition at the east end with a tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has casement windows. There is one ridge chimney stack and one external stack with attached shafts located at the west end. The interior also showcases exposed timber-framing.
