Description
Fenn Farm is a 16th-century building with wings to the north and west. The west wing was largely rebuilt in the 18th century, featuring a front made of red and blue brick, a parapet, and a moulded brick cornice. The roof is tiled, with end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and a raised brick band that runs across the front between the storeys. It has a five-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The central six-panel door is framed by a wood doorcase with panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, and a flat hood supported by brackets. The north wing is timber-framed and plastered, with a gable facing the front. This wing also has a tiled roof and two storeys, featuring a three-window range on the east side and a one-window range on the front. It includes leaded casements and double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A ridge chimney stack on this wing has four grouped octagonal shafts on a square base.
