Description

Brettes is a 16th-17th century timber-framed and plastered building located on Back Lane, Monks Eleigh. The roof is thatched, with a half-hipped section at the west end. The building is one storey high with attics. It features casement windows, and retains one original restored window on the front elevation, showcasing diamond mullions. Two dormers are visible on the front. A ridge chimney stack is present. The building has undergone restoration and renovation.
