Description

Hobarts is a building that likely dates back to the 16th century. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a cross wing at the west end and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys, with the cross wing showcasing a jettied upper storey supported by exposed joists, and the timber-framing is visible on the front. The windows are casements with lattice leaded lights, and there is a restored diamond mullioned window with a gabled dormer above it. The ground storey of the cross wing includes a modern oriel window. At the west end, there is an external chimney stack and a modern addition. The building has undergone considerable restoration.
