Description

Brittons Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Cooks Lane in Somerton. The building features a cross wing at the southeast end and a jettied wing on the west side. It has two storeys and is fitted with casement windows. The west gable includes some weatherboarding. The roofs are covered with corrugated iron, which replaced the original thatch, and there is an old central chimney stack that has been rebuilt at the top.
