Description

These are two 18th-century buildings on the north side of Gainsborough Street, dating from 1692. They are two storeys high and built of white brick. The first floor has two recessed sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with a stone lintel in the form of a flat arch. The roof is slate, with a small eaves soffit. The buildings are included in the list for their group value with properties at numbers 41 to 47, and 1 and 2 Weaver’s Lane.
