Description

The Christopher Inn, located on Gainsborough Street in a group with numbers 9 to 15 and number 46, dates to 1692. The front of the building is from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed with plastered brick and covered by a slate roof. The two-story facade has a five-window arrangement of sash windows with glazing bars. The central three windows project slightly forward. A rounded corner faces Christopher Lane, featuring a three-light, rounded window on the first floor. A timber-framed wing extends down Christopher Lane.
