Description

41 Gainsborough Street is a building from 1692 located on the north side of the street. It is an early 19th-century, two-storey structure with three windows, constructed of yellow brick. The centre of the building slightly projects forward and is flanked by pilasters. It features a stone Doric doorcase that leads to a six-panel door. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars and flat arches. The roof is slate with a small eaves soffit. This building is included for its group value with Nos 41 to 47 (consecutive) and 1 and 2 Weaver's Lane.
