Description

These are two adjoining buildings, numbers 37 and 38 Gainsborough Street, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, and which have been altered and are now somewhat dilapidated. They are timber-framed with plastered walls and tiled roofs. The ground floor has two doorways, each with an open pediment and a blocked fanlight. Number 38 also has a small shop window. Numbers 28 to 38 Gainsborough Street form a group.
