Description

Nos. 13 and 15 Bells Lane represent a timber-framed and plastered house, originally dating to the 16th and 17th centuries. An 18th-century wing was added to the south at the west end. The building was renovated and altered in the 20th century. It is two storeys high with attics. The upper storey juts out on the south side. The front has a three-window arrangement of double-hung sash windows with single vertical glazing bars; some windows are three-light with narrow side lights. Casement windows are mainly on the south side. The main block’s roof is tiled, while the wing’s roof is slate. The interior features exposed timber framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
