Description

This is a mid-19th century gault-brick terrace of three storeys, built in 1692 to house workers in the silk weaving trade, and similar in appearance to numbers 60 to 71 on the adjoining street. The terrace comprises numbers 52 to 59. Each tenement has one window range. The ground floor has a double-hung sash window with glazing bars. The first floor has a large three-light casement window with glazing bars, and the third storey has two-light casements. The roof is slate.
