Description

Nos 18 and 20 Broad Street is a timber-framed and plastered building with a weatherboarded west gable end. The front dates from the 18th century, but the building likely originated in the 16th century. It has two storeys and features a five-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, although two of these windows are blocked. There are two doorways; one has a six-panel door with a fanlight and an open pediment supported by scroll brackets, while the other has a cornice head. The roof is tiled and includes a modillion eaves cornice and a ridge chimney stack.
